Replying To Cockney_Cat:  ""Can't wait for the Dublin match, its always hilarious watching the dubs hurl!"

Was it hilarious watching in Salthill last year, when Dublin beat you by 6 points, therefore qualifying for the Leinster final and ending Galway's season?"
That was embarrassing. But hopefully it will be hilarious when Spurs put United back in their box in the Europa League Final.

Embarassing? I Will tell you about embarassing Katser. 1983 .Now that was embarassing not being able to beat a team who had only 12 players.

Their arrogance is impervious to reality.

Unlike the Bourbons they remember nothing and learn nothing.

Another lesson in hurling Saturday week..

Munster SHC round 4

Tipperary v Waterford, FBD Semple Stadium Thurles, 2pm - RTE

Tailteann Cup Round 2
Leitrim v Sligo, Carrick-on-Shannon, 1.30pm - GAA+"
Of course! Munster hurling is great to watch. Leinster much less so!"
Tipp v Cork wasn't much of a game or Clare v Waterford."]Just like Galway vs Wexford. Well, it was much of a game for Galway. Has Wexford played any good game this year?"]Not in Championship so far"]I thought Wexford were good at times yesterday. Plenty of skill but too easy to turn over. Galway bullied them. They just don't look as bulky as other teams. Dublin also the same. Kilkenny would just run rough shod over them. Nothing too much wrong with either teams hurling except the physical stuff."]If Waterford were in Leinster they would nt have a hope of qualifying ."]They would be qualifying every year and before this system would have more All-irelands. They're not so a moot point.

My only concern is hoping Galway lads don't get injured playing against the "dubs"."
what a strange and disrespectful comment to make. you must not be a real hurling man at all because if you were you would know exactly what a bogey team Dublin are for ourselves.

Well, the topic at hand is 'Leinster Hurling Championship', so I'm not going to get in to a debate about soccer on here.
But I'll say just one thing, then no more. I'm a Spurs fan and I'll feel overjoyed with winning a trophy after so many years, and a bit of relief after an otherwise terrible season. But, there'll be no hilarity at Man Utd's expense.

Katser wouldn't open the curtains to watch a game of football, so 1983 wouldn't bother him in the slightest.
We have plenty hurling finals in the L column as well though, to chew over.

Playing the dubs in hurling is like a traditional hurling club in Galway Playing a club who's first preference is football and they put in a hurling team to promote the game. No skill or style and not fully aware of the rules of the game.
Remember in my day we used to hate Playing against teams like that mostly for player safety because they would be swinging the hurl as if they were cutting nettles with a bill hook. Hitting the ball up in the air without any direction or accuracy and hoping it goes over the bar with wild mad swings!

Wow Katser you are the most disrespectful poster to represent Galway..I hope when you come down from that high horse you might think about what you posted but I doubt it..it looks like Galway will definitely get out of Leinster now so maybe concentrate on the days ahead instead of coming across so bitter..

They haven't done too badly against you in the last few years for a team with ''no skill or style''

Loughrea couldn't handle Na Fiannas slick hurling skills and pace earlier in the year and I don't see your senior county team fairing much better v the Dubs.

Dublin and Offaly are coming and Leinster will be be very competitive. Carlow not far behind. It will just take one of those teams to make it and then the story will be how hard to get out of Leinster.

Even as a Galway man I hope you're right, but I fear Carlow may fall away a little once this savage generation of warriors starts to retire. I really hope they get back to Leinster next year but I've an odd feeling the loss to Kildare last week could be a sign of things to come with the torch passing between those 2 counties for a while. Maybe any Carlow lurkers could put my mind at ease

Kildare are coming. Slowly, but still coming.
