Replying To legendzxix:  "The Dublin champions tend to be the default favourites these days. A lot of expectation that the winners will avail of home comforts.
Dr Crokes will be facing a very difficult opponent. Dr Crokes v Errigal Ciaran is probably the more difficult semi final to call ."
As of now bookies have Cuala as favourites because their semi v Coolera is rightly or wrong perceived as less competitive than the other semi

Replying To FoolsGold:  "The best team in All Ireland as their captain kept early in the speech. They were ok yesterday but it wasn't strong opposition."
The win over Daingean was slightly bizarre. A glut of goals at time Daingean looked like better team. Then only scraped past Waterford champions. So, Crokes not by any means home and hosed.

Very sad to hear this. His bravery in the midst of receiving such shattering news was amazing. The way he carried himself in such dark times should be an example to us all . Life is short and you never know what's around the corner. Deepest sympathies to his family and friends. RIP Jody

A true football legend, managed Antrim, Co managed Down and played for London on his GAA journey. RIP Jody. BBC have a must listen to GAA social podcast with Jody recorded after announcing his illness.

Crokes will be beat Cuala Todd.

Crokes will be doing well to get past Errigal Ciaran. EC have been getting over the line continuously, as have Coolera Strandhill. CS were written off against Ballina and the same against Pádraig Pearses.

I won't be having a bet but if I was I'd be going for a Crokes/Cuala final. While Coolera put in a great performance against Pearses, to a big extent Pearses were authors of their own downfall, missing too many chances.
Similarly I thought Kilcoo looked the better team in the Ulster final and were undone by a moment of madness for a red card and a goal that was clearly a square ball.

Best bet is Errigal at 5/2. If they beat Crokes and I think they will, then they will be slightly odds on to win final.

I would tend to agree with that. A tough path for Errigal Ciaran at the same time. Any of Cuala, Errigal Ciaran or Crokes can win it outright. CS the complete dark horses in the four horse race. They won't mind that.

They can all win it, and I won't be betting myself as I had backed Pearses after Roscommon final. A worrying aspect of Errigal's performance at weekend was that it took them nearly half an hour to score point from play? Five in total.

A tribute to Kilcoo defence no doubt but with forwards of their calibre it would not inspire huge confidence. Likewise, Crokes and Cuala have ridden their luck and are weak in certain areas. Which makes for an interesting conclusion to the championship.

The quiet mouse gets the corn, Errigal will suit being underdogs and with the two boys anything can happen. Kilcoo kept them quiet but it won't be easy doing for the players who mark them. Something to look forward to.

Terrible decision to put game on in Kingspan Breffni unless swayed by the availability of lights . Glennon Brothers Pearse Park would have ideal ,bang in the middle with the N4/M4 and trai Station 20 minutes from the ground for the Culla express

Hard to disagree with that. Would have been a perfect venue.

Would you actually need floodlights between 1.30-3pm though.???

Is it not more of having it in a neutral (different province) ground.?
