Replying To leitrim4sam:  "Padraig pearses (after they dispatch coolera/1strandhill tomorrow) will beat Cuala with a hell of a lot to spare. Connacht club is strongest IMO. Cuala haven't met a team like pearses yet. Can't see crokes or Ulster topping them either

It's pearses to lose IMO they are the best"
Well Nostradamus any chance of another prediction!

Leitrim4Sam is the give away! Leitrim will never win the Tailteann Cup, thus will never again compete for Sam!

Replying To Fionn:  "How Cuala only fell over the line bt 1pt is bonkers.

They butchered at least 3 one on one goal chances.

Conceding 2 goals in a minute was criminal tbh.

Fair play to Ardee for coming back for the dead 1-06 to no score, but Cuala will be kicking themselves for letting them back into it at all.
As for the Black Card decision......

Not sure Cuala will get to or even win the AI Club Final, but I am delighted there now is a Dublin & Leinster SFC Club medal for Cuala, and Mick Fitz especially."
Happened to be in Dublin Saturday evening so went along for a look. nice to watch a game as a neutral for a change.
Cuala would have been kicking themselves if they lost that game. Not sure if it came across on tv but when they lost a player to a dubious black and they continued to press up high and paid the price for it once Ardee broke the tackle. Ardee had a great chance to go 1 point up and not sure what would have happened if they took the lead. 6 points up and down a man ,you would usually try and hold what you have for the 10 mins.
Very hard to judge that black card rule. there was at least 1 ardee tackle that looked like it should be a black but wasn't and i've given up tying to interpret same.
Mick Fitzsimmons was immense.

Well spotted.
Yep, a bit of naivety perhaps by Cuala, when down to that ridiculous Black Card.

Mick Fitz has had a remarkable season for Cuala.
Performances that defy his age and he hardly even breaks a sweat.
A wonderful player and his legendary status has been enhanced this season.

Agree never a black card. The referee must have been listening to moaning of Tullamore manager as was very eager to card Cuala lads. Nearly cost them the game.

ULSTER CLUB SFC FINAL
Kilkoo (Down) v Errigal Ciaran (Tyrone)
Kilcoo favourites but Errigal Ciaran cannot be written off. Semi-finals are about getting through and Errigal Ciaran achieved that.
MUNSTER CLUB SFC FINAL
Loughmore Castleiney (Tipperary) v Dr. Crokes (Kerry)
Dr. Crokes just about got past the Waterford champions. They'll still be expected to win but Loughmore Castleiney will be quietly confident of causing a shock. Dr. Crokes achieved their goal of getting through the semi final. It'll keep them grounded and focused on what has to be done on Sunday.
My attempt at a prediction is a Dr Crokes v Errigal Ciaran semi-final. We'll find out on Sunday!

Kilcoo were the better team.
Sending off was needless but deserved.

Dr Crokes should beat Errigal Ciaran in the semi final imo.
Dr Crokes were impressive today.

Better team usually wins, Errigal are the dark horses and to get over Kilcoo and their tactics will stand to them. Well done Errigal.

Don't get me wrong, it would be nice to see E/C win and get to the Final but i thought Kilcoo were the better team and created more chances in the game.
Going down to 14 men was silly to say to least - it was nasty to leave the elbow in on the player.

Best of luck in the Semi Final.

Crokes looked very impressive today, played some nice football. Probably favourites to win the All Ireland I would say.

Joe Oguz goal was the clearest square ball I have seen. Also errigal should have had a back card in first quarter for blatant pull down, referee and his officials were poor. Well done to errigal not their fault but kilcoo can feel rightly aggrieved

An easier route to the final now imo anyway. Cant's see E/C stopping them.

Dr Crokes will be hard to stop and as you say, probably the favourites to win it out now.

Also, the free that Errigal were awarded to tie it up with 3 minutes to go was soft IMO. The Errigal player had already kicked the ball (a mile wide) before there was any contact from a Kilcoo player.

100% agree, referee either doesn't know the black card rule or chose not to apply it in that instance. He also gave a yellow to EC player in the 2nd half which was potentially another black card.

Errigal Ciaran, like Coolera Strandhill, have kept finding a way to win. Dr Crokes delivered the expected performance today, eventually. Cuala and Dr Crokes are expected to make the final, while I agree, I won't writing off Errigal Ciaran and Coolera Strandhill. All to play for.

Agree, and Errigal won despite Kilcoo's tactics. Great for Mc Ginley who would be my choice to partner O Rourke in Tyrone management.

To be fair. Kilcoo were no angels either. So i
wouldn't just blame the officials for the outcome

To be fair lads,at this moment in time I don't think errigal will be too bothered. They will be celebrating and looking forward to a all ireland semi final. And good luck to them
