There is a fascinating website where they have put a tracker on a cuckoo which summers in the national park in Killarney. The cuckoo arrived in Ireland in late April, left in late June and is now tracked at the Italian coast after resting for a few weeks in the Italian alps

There's some good Apps for plants and gardening and all that. What else are you growing? Check YouTube you might get lucky if someone is growing what you're growing.

For anyone interested in that sort of thing, there's an app called Merlin that recognises all birdsong within earshot and tells you what they are.
Wouldn't be big into wildlife myself, but it's fascinating just how many different species can be around you at one time.

I would not chance that. Criptosporidium risk not to mention potential anti biotics or other medication that the cattle received. Scallions easy as blazes to grow should be no need for huge nutrient input unless you growing them in sand.

BREAKING: The Trump administration just announced it will deny federal disaster aid to any state or city that boycotts Israel.

Let that sink in.

If your town floods or burns, but your local government supports a peaceful boycott?

Wow..they aren't even pretending anymore. It's "Israel first" in America now. Wonder what MAGA think about all this?

I'd imagine you won't have long to wait to find out. The Galway Bot will be in like Flynn now that you have given it an opening.

The US is one big sick joke at the moment. You know, it's about time Europe and other countries around the world return the medicine... the world can do without the US and it's becoming more evident day by day.

I agree with you. I don't know why the US is so in love with Israel. While I love what Trump is doing with The Border, DOGE, the Tariffs, Tax Cuts, etc. I hate him getting involved in any wars other than trying to help negotiate peace like he did with Thailand vs Cambodia, etc.

I don't know WHAT Israel has on the US but every President seems to bend over for them. Unreal and I do not support it.

I'd imagine the Mossad and the likes have files 10 metres thick on all their indiscretions .
Plus pro Israel elements finance most US politicians campaigns.

What do you like about Trump's Tariffs? In the words of former speaking of the house Ryan today….

"They justified tariffs based on trade deficit… But then they threw a tariff on Brazil at 50%, and we have a trade surplus with Brazil. There's no rationale for this other than the president wanting to raise tariffs based upon his whims, his opinions."

Defend that. If he wants to impose a tariff impose it…leave it at that. The markets will adjust accordingly. Once thing the markets don't like is uncertainty and Trump flips flops every hour. An idiot.

Seems like this Brazil tariff is all about perceived harsh treatment of his old pal and admirer, Bolosonara. Mr T wants his trial or "witch-hunt" stopped - or else. He is weaponising tariffs and everything else depending on which side he gets out of bed in the morning. He has agreed to send weapons to Ukraine, as long as European countries compensate him. Everything has a price tag on it. Honor, ethics, morality, friendships, alliances all out the window. It's all about the bottom line.

He put tariffs on countries that had tariffs against the US hence the term "reciprocal tariffs". I don't know every single nuance of each country nor do I care to. He said it loud and clear that he would punish countries that were not playing on a level playing field with the US. Since you brought up Brazil I think it's to do with their former President being harassed by the current regime. There could be more to it, I don't know.
