Replying To Viking66:  "Alot if that was down to having good teams who didn't suffer injuries to significant players, and getting the luck of the draw. They won 2 grand slams in a row after the 2011 world cup, they won a grand slam in 2019 also. 1987 they did really well to beat a string French team in the QF, although they shared the 5 nations title with them that year.

At the end of the day none of my Welsh friends celebrate getting to a Semi-final in any case."
Whatever it is about Wales being at their best before the professional era, I have never seen better players than JPR and JJ Williams, Gareth Edwards, Barry John, and Mervyn Davies..all on one team! Ireland at that time had Willie John McBride, Mike Gibson and Ken Goodall who would rival any players today. The 1974 Lions tour to South Africa was maybe best ever, although shrouded by political turmoil!

It was wonderful to see nearly 33,500 fans in the Aviva Stadium yesterday.

Great for League of Ireland football.

Really good exciting game with both teams having plenty of chances.

Remember, this was not a cup final - it was a League game, so that attendance is really impressive.
Huge rivalry between the 2 clubs but it passed off without incident.

LOI Football, as I posted a few months ago, is in a really good place at the minute.
Long may it continue. They finally seem to have their house in order at last.

That's all well and good but I imagine Barney has a friend that says the facts are different regarding foreigners

It would appear as if he might be able to add "Chamberlain" to his long list of titles.

Not a Trump fan, but one reason is most likely their posts are not published.

I have sent several responses and no sign.

Maybe they don't want Ukraine to start a war with them as well?

Appears to Mr T that it's all Zelenskys fault. He started the war, refused to do a deal "surrender", won't call an election, approval ratings of 4%. ( ratings very important to Mr T).

War was always going to end with Russia having some hold on the Russian speaking parts of Ukraine.

The most worrying part for us is the accession to the EU. Absolutely no advantage to the Irish state or economy, Quite the opposite I would think and yet we have Harris sounding like he's the EU Commissioner.

"Europe" This be same Europe now that forced Lenihan to accept a 60 billion debt that belonged to the bankers?

It's like blaming Poland for starting WW2. He's off his head.

Imagine the Brits deciding they want the other three Ulster counties and the American president saying "oh well ye started it, tough" you'd be happy with that?

Of course I do. When people make misleading or inaccurate comments that I know or suspect are untrue, it's a good way of verifying the facts. Or would you prefer to live in a world of ignorance?

So you're not a Trump fan but you know that sending pro Trump posts don't get published. How would you know such a thing then?

Our leaders and the rest of the world have accepted the British occupation of north east already!
