Time to move on lads…Andy Moran is not Leitrim manager. There been a lot of toxicity in Mayo football recently but as a Leitrim friend said…"you might think te are bad but in Leitrim it's on another level" one Leitrim poster here in the past was posting total lies about certain Leitrim players.

Who said All Ireland? Jesus the trolls are hilarious. If Galway or Mayo played Louth, Monaghan then Meath this year they probably make the final. You seem to think that me saying Mayo or 3 or 4 other teams could make a final that i am putting them in the top 2. It's a bit simplistic. Semi final a very realistic target.

Hopefully ye can win a game in Croker for the first time in 45 years. Not a dead cert though.

IF Donegal hadn's scored that point in the last second (which Jim McGuinness admitted he didnt particularly want to) that would have been Mayos draw.
Galway had that route and lost to Meath - so you cant really say they would have made the final. Saying Mayo would is a bit of my Uncle having b@!!s and being my aunt.

Tirawley, in 2025, your auntie can have balls. Just don't tell Enoch.

My point is it's fine margins. There is no big gap anymore. Kerry are favourites but can you really say for sure they will definitely be in a final next year? Or who will the other team in the final?

We lose too many big games by fine margins though and seem to ignore it. Something for the new management to improve.

Toxic?! That's rich coming from the county that gave us "O'Leary Gate" & currently has Croke Park managing the cheque book due to questions over sustainability of debt / tax issues. About as toxic as it comes.

Tough job and it would be nice to see him do well.
We need more teams really competing for Sam.
This year was far too predictable.
Hope he does a good job with them."
How was the year predictable ?
How do you want more teams competing for Sam ?
There were 16 teams.
The best 4 teams were in the semis
Best 2 in the final and the best team won the All Ireland.

You'd have never have seen the light in division 3 ever if it wasn't for Andy . A decent enough team thats been living in division 4 since God knows when ...
Your not good enough to beat New York just be honest like and admit it .
You will do well if you build up your S & C which is what Andy did with your guys and helped get them up to division 3 . It is bitter blaming Andy for your failings over the years.
I'm sure Andy couldn't care less either no wonder he left you lot if your all as bitter as this !"
Clare you need to put in the research as it would greatly improve your quality of posting

Terry Hyland the Leitrim manager before Andy Moran also got Leitrim promoted to div 3 and gave a very good account of themselves in the Division 3 final against Derry.

Weren't good enough to beat New York under Andy Moran yet were good enough to beat New York under their previous managers. That New York team was then hammered by Sligo in their following game and Sligo played their league football In Div 4 that spring.

One of the biggest criticism I've seen from Leitrim supporters when Andy Moran was manager was about the lack of improvement on their S&C.

How many contenders was truly there this year in hindsight? once Kerry found their mojo in the knockout stages there was no looking back.

Among the last 4 was Meath who weren't good enough to win the Leinster final against Louth or gain promotion to Div 1. They got by underperforming Galway in low quality error ridden match, in truth Galway really should have made their exit at the group stage like their Connacht neighbours Roscommon,Mayo

Tyrone also reached the last 4 and were a long way off the Tyrone teams that was competing and winning the All-Irelands. Watching them in their quarter final win against an average Dublin you could tell they were going no further.

Was high hopes for a good competitive All-Ireland final but Kerry ended that hope by half time. Of course might have been more competitive final with no two pointers, Kerry scored 5 of them to zero for Donegal.
