Replying To MagheraclooneMen:  "I have to agree with Scarna man here as I heard killeevan had a challenge game vs clones both to there full strength and killeevan won well what shows you is going on in the clones camp"
I don't see y people are writing clones off a intermediate title it's beyond me… Darren Freeman on his day is unstoppable, best forward in the league

Killeevan aernt that all that bad with a full team

Replying To Thesarsfields1975:  "The proof is there but clones have darren and will do all year so I wouldn't say them making a league final with him is a miracle also I went to the game and some great young talents stepped up mc farland around the middle young clerkin….
However the likes of beggan and dowd around the middle I just didn't see enough of these lads considering their qualities and what they shown in junior a few years ago it's in them therefore clones I would call them a dark horse
Mc elvaney freeman finty all out injured also

I see clones alot like ourselves we have a lot of men injured I think if we'd a full team burns tierney etc to help out Lorcan we'd be pushing the top ends of intermediate no doubt"
God give me strength!! You're last point has to be a joke

With kileevans facilities they should be pushing towards the top of intermediate agreed, massive money in that club maybe be better off buying a few players to replace what's there.

If you've been watching junior over the last 3/4 years you'd know we have lost some serious talent with men away and injured and as for this year it's very open a lot of teams on the same level aswell as ourselves with our juveniles and facilities you'll see yourself in the coming years

Pushing intermediate is definitely not out of killeevans reach

Agreed the money and facilities is second to none we just need to start backing it up on the field and I believe in the coming years we'll be challenging

I just don't agree with the transferring craic scotstown are a joke! Mc currin

Does someone need to remind you that killevan have won ONE league game this year. And you are talking about challenging intermediate? Mother of christ

Kileevan be loving this, they'll use this sort of negativity to really inspire them for this championship campaign.
They are a dangerous team when written off .

Replying To Thesarsfields1975:  "I would disagree with u here, they've some serious quality with Darren's brother currently injured and James mealiff coming back into things with a few younger lads on the 20s etc
If they could somehow make league final when the board make a decision I don't see y they couldn't beat harps/Killany Carrick harps etc"
Totally agree, as I said above they are a good side, gave the harps the hardest game that I seen this year( missed killanny game).
Freeman was unplayable against Blaney, midfielders v good mc farland I think he is? Centre back also.

I know Blaney had Mark missing but didn't look great. Benny did most of their damage.

Replying To ScarnaMan1990:  "All good and well saying this but the proof is in the pudding. Darren scored 8 points out of 9 in the first half . Some of these so called 20s would want to knuckle down and get to it. Very soft team in my opinion like most "towny" teams. If they were to get near a league final it would be an absolute miracle."
See this been said regularly about town teams and don't understand it, from what Ive seen clones are a very Athletic team thst gave and took bits hits and didn't back down. Sounds like something that was said in the 80s when you couldn't mark a fella you'd just take the head off him.

Honestly think the majority of predictions on here are based on what individual teams were like back in the day and fella are calling games when they haven't seen either team play this year.

They'd struggle to win junior in Kilkenny the way they are playing this year
