Ardee a fine side, they trailed by 1 when black card was given and yet were on level terms when he came back on, that, Loman's misses and TK Cox going off injured were key moments. Garrycastle very hard done by according to some online comments. Lomans were in control for alot of that game but couldn't shake Ardee off who really dug in during the black card. Cox injury was probably significant as he was flying. I thought this year was a great chance for Lomans but they miss out on Croke Park again. Easy say now but why did Heslin not take last free ? No luck involved they're the best team in the county. No matter how thin the margins are between them and the downs. Were they lucky to win the last two games by 13 points??? Stupid statement

Disappointing defeat for St Loman's in a game they should have been winning at home. They missed a massive opportunity to win a Leinster title. Sam McCartan and TJ Cox were very good. Looking at Cuala against Tullamore won't ease the blow for Loman's supporters, Cuala a decent side but not anywhere in the same league as Kilmacud Crokes, can't see Cuala winning the All Ireland. Ardee definitely had their homework done in terms of stopping Loman's and also not allowing home advantage to be a big factor by preventing goals. It's been a strength of Loman's over the years, they have lots of players who excel at getting goals, a goal at home was going to create an atmosphere but it never looked likely, rare that they don't get them in knockout matches, The Downs the last team to do it in the county final two years ago and before that it was a long time ago. I cannot understand the hate for St.lomans, there are a fantastic team and club. Were in wilderness for years and started with underage and built up to the club they are now, dominating westmeath club football. I am hearing for 10 years about the poor defence they have, yet they are still dominating. I haven't seen anyone consistently take the supposed weak defence apart. Of course teams will put pressure on them every so often. D o keefe hogan's, whelan have all had outstanding year. They were beaten by a better team yesterday, simple as, it happens. Couldn't agree more but as the old saying goes envy is jealousy, we'd all give an arm and a leg for our clubs to be on their level, the truth is there a fantastic club and aren't going anywhere any time soon and a credit to them and there management and players.

I hope you did not back that in the bookies. I don't like kicking a dog when it's down but why was alot of people including yourself writing off the Marys? The Marys won 3 in a row in Louth, Crokes just got over the line against them in Ardee in last years semi final and they have 5 players on the Louth team. One of them Donal Mc Kenny got nominated for an all star this year. I like Lomans. They should of won a Leinster in 2017 plus John Heslin is some footballer.

Yes I read the script wrong, well done to Ardee St Mary's on a deserved win. I thought St Loman's were playing their best football, the shackles were off after winning the county, home advantage etc. Perhaps I underestimated the Ardee lads, they are a fine team and had their homework done on St Loman's. It was a game that could've went either way, crucially though, Ardee got more out of their main men when the chips were down. I hope Ardee go on and win the Leinster title now.
