A totally deserved win for Donegal last night… Early days but Dublin seems to be struggling a bit with some of these new rules… Their forwards look weak at this stage but Con and Costello will help in that department… Just one 2pt score must be the lowest return from any team over the 4 divisions who have 2 matches played.. Donegal look strong

Dublin lacking pace and initiative in forwards but that will be corrected. I thought they used the tap and go effectively but hit a wall 40 yards out due to poor full forward line. Be lost without Kilkenny.

Donegal took chances much better but might have been closer had it not been for McBrearty coming in. Difficult to see really how Murphy will make that much of a difference. Pace rather than power is of a premium now and Murphy does not have the former. Can see where Gallagher was coming from, similar to Farrell and O'Donnell but game is not being played that way.

1-33 scored by Dublin in two games, all from play, missed one "2pt" free last night. I don't think Dublin were awarded any other scoreable free in the two games.

Donegal deserved their win. Not sure about any of you, but I found it hard to watch.

Donegal fully worth ther win, zero complaints

Dubs fought back in the second half but ran out of juice, again, Donegal the better side.

Always a very tough away game, I had tipped Donegsl by 3 before the game, but the Dubs were competitive.

The problem is what we are currently conceding, need to put that right across this campaign.

Year 2 of Jim Mc being back, I can see this Donegsl side having a big say this year

Onto the next one..

Is there streams of every Dublin hurling league match, anywhere

I don't think so. Gaa go might do odd one. We have coverage of club championship in Parnell and home underage but not county. Only the one v Carlow in Parnell this year.

Very sad news on hearing of the death of Dublin great Paddy Cullen, who passed away yesterday.

3 All Ireland wins
6 Leinsters
2 League titles
4 All Stars
1 Railway Cup

He played for Dublin for 14 years, and he also managed the Dubs to Leinster & National Football Leagues titles.

I met him a few times - a true gent.

From his pub in Swords to the one in town, he always had time to chat.

Rest in Peace Paddy.

Great call by ref on Dublin girl charging into Armagh back at end of match.

No one else including Armagh players noticed it. Great officiating ...

We need to improve for sure.

Playing the last 22mins with 14 men didnt help.

We had 10 different scorers which is a nice spread.

Hopefully Chris is ok for the next day.

As Niall said after the game - we have a lot of work to do.....

And with games against Deise & Offaly to come - that is a definite.

No doubt.

The 70s team under Heffernan helped to revive the games in Dublin, the fanfare and support seen in those days up on Hill 16, IMHO.. I don't think it has ever been rivaled since. The footage is there to watch, they were extraordinary times.

Paddy Cullen played a huge part in it all, and stood right in front of it, what a feeling that must have been.

RIP Paddy Cullen, hope you're somewhere as a young man playing ball, reunited with some of your good mates again.

Legend is right.

What that Dubs team gave Dublin City was something very special.

Don't discount the Carlow challenge coming your way on 8th March.
