Replying To Fionn:  "Needs must and he is a lot better than the other player mentioned.
Not ideal but that is where we are now unfortunately.

BH can play there also of course.

Oh and I forgot to mention EOG will now be playing Football.

Madden will come back in eventually, but it will take a bit of time for him, I suspect."
I wouldn't be hanging my hat on CK been the answer in midfield…. He is thinking of packing in the county as well…. but hasn't made a decision yet

I know, unfortunately - he is the one not listed earlier.

The midfield is going to be a massive problem for Dublin next year imo.

If CK stays, even at 31, same age as Fento by the way, he might have to play in midfield.

Great result and a hard fought win for Cuala v Tullamore tonight here in The Neller.

King Con with 4pts and a Man of the Match performance.

And Mick Fitz getting on the scoreline once again. What a player.

Delighted for PD in the middle also.

Next up is a Leinster Club SFC Final v St Mary's Ardee, who overcame a fancied Lomans team down in Mullingar.

Hopefully Cuala can win next Saturday and set up an All Ireland Club Semi Final v the Connacht champions of Pearses (Ros) or Coolera Strandhill (Sligo).

On paper it would appear the other half of the draw is tougher, with Kilcoo v Dr Crokes a probability.

So Mick steps aside from the Dublin Ladies.

A wonderful 8 years at the helm with 5 All Ireland wins, 2 League Titles, and 6 Leinster championships.

I personally think they left at least 1 All Ireland behind them also.

Thanks Mick and well done.

It will be interesting to see who steps in now.

PG perhaps.???

Superb win for Na Fianna in the Leinster SHC Semi final just now, here in a sunny but cold and windy Parnell Park.

N/F 1-16 v St Martins (Wexford) 0-15
(N/F 0-10 v S/M 0-06 at H/T)

The Glasnevin men with the last 3 scores of the game, after Martins brought it back to a 1pt game with 5mins to go.

Next up a Leinster Final v Kilcormac Killoughey (Offaly)
Should be a cracker...!

Is their statement saying that they have handed over their grounds for free to the crowd they bought it off for about €11m about 15 years ago? I'm so confused!! Why would you hand something over for nothing to the original owners?
Did they owe money to this crowd? It seems to be an awful mess up there. Does anybody know the full ins and outs over what has happened that club. Once the richest club in the country now have nothing!

"This crowd"? There is only one "this crowd" involved in this and it is not the Marist Order.

Parnells lost the plot with their windfall and attempt to virtually buy a Dublin championship which fell flat on its face.

Hopefully a lesson learned and they get back on track.

Well my deepest apologies for offending you.
The reason I called them 'this crowd' is because I haven't a clue who they are or what they were called....so the handiest thing was to call them that!!! No offence meant as it is quite clearly an issue that is 100% Parnells fault!!!

Parnell's messed up big time.

But how they can blow that amount of money needs to be investigated by the GAA imo.

No Clubhouse or Pitch anymore... madness by whoever oversaw this fiasco.

Excellently summed up Barney and the GAA top dogs need to come out and condemn this sort of ludicrous behaviour….and try and make sure it doesn't happen again…! But not a peep out of them…

Excellent weekend for Dublin GAA - a clean sweep of Leinster Senior Club titles for 2024.

Cuala Leinster Senior Football Champions
Na Fianna Leinster Senior Hurling Champions
Kilmacud Crokes Leinster Ladies Senior Football Champions
St Vincent's Leinster Senior Camogie Champions

In addition, Cuala and Na Fianna have made history as they became the first Dublin clubs to win both Leinster Senior Football and Leinster Senior Hurling titles.
Cuala added the Leinster SFC title to the 2x Leinster SHC titles they won in 2016 & 2017.
Na Fianna added the Leinster SHC to the Leinster SFC title the club won in 1999.

Worth mentioning that Crokes and Boden are the other Dublin clubs to have contested Leinster club finals in both SFC and SHC, but both of these two clubs failed to win the Leinster Hurling title.

Pleasantly surprised that both Cuala and Na Fianna won their Leinster SFC and SHC titles yesterday.

NF were excellent and full value for their victory. Great celebrations in Glasnevin.
They have a real chance of making the All Ireland Club SHC Final hopefully.

Cuala - wow. Game was won but they conspired to let Ardee, hats off to Ardee, back into it.
But what a year for the Dalkey men.

Fitting that Mick Fitz scored the 1st point of the game and also won the free for the winning point.
What a player. He has been phenomenal throughout this club season. Ageless. What a legend.
To get those 2 club medals this year, Dublin & Leinster club, is just reward for him.
Dual star Con O'Callaghan has now won both Dublin Club SHC & SFC, and Leinster Club SHC & SFC
His medal haul really is something else....!

Hats off to Mick Fitz. What a player and absolute gentleman. As for King Con. A once in a lifetime talent. Privileged to have seen him excel in both codes.

I was told last night that the point Mick Fitz scored, was his 1st EVER score in Croke Park.
What a great time to do it.

As for Con - yes, he is a remarkable player. So talented in Both codes.
I think these new rules coming in, will suit him perfectly.
