Replying To Fionn:  "As a matter of interest, what players do you think can improve the Dublin team who are not currently in the Dubs squad.?
Just curious tbh.

EOD will return to the Hurlers for sure. Cant see him sticking around with the footballers now.

Clubs like Skerries, Clontarf, Na Fianna, Cuala have some good players but would they improve the Dublin team - not so sure, unfortunately."
Not sure tbh.I liked that young Duffy midfield for Cuala. I just saw Dermo thinks we have loads of talent around. If we get to grip with the new rules I still think we have enough on our panel in truth.I hope James Madden gets a good run during the league. From the under 20s I liked young Charlie MCmorrow at centre back and the young Crokes lad Quigley looks like a good prospect in the forwards.

That was some goal by Carla Rowe for the Dubs yesterday, in the Ladies All Ireland Football Semi Final victory over Galway. Fair play to her.
As for Hannah Tyrell - what a player.

Meath beat Kerry in the other semi.

Should be a great final between the two Leinster neighbours in 2 weeks.

Still no white smoke from Dublin County Board.
Mmmmm.

I would think they have their manager but just trying to sort out the backroom team and coaches.
Dessie told them at the start of the year that this year would be his last, so they have had plenty of time to get the groundwork done on this. Perhaps waiting until after the men's and ladies All Ireland Finals are over....

Will the record attendance be beaten Sunday week, you'd imagine there's a good chance.

Many congrats to Dublin's Sean Currie and Cian O'Sullivan who end the 2025 Senior Hurling Championship at the top of the scoring charts.

Currie finishes the season as the Hurling Championship's TOP SCORER overall,
and O'Sullivan finishes as joint Top Scorer from Play.

Superb season from both of them.

Hopefully at least one of our lads gets an All Star as recognition.

Roll on next season under Niall. A new air of optimism in Dublin Hurling.

Certainly a great chance .Both counties no excuse with travel but the bank holiday weekend might affect the attendence a little.Still expect a big crowd but probably wont beat the record

Class goal by Carla. I watched both games and tbh Meath looked the best of the four teams.Meath totally outplayed Kerry and I thought Galway were the better team against us in normal time but they panicked. It could be a tight final.

Deffo bud. They will def wait until the season is over.Im not hearing any rumblins either.Hope we get a manager in situ shortly after the finals. As a part Corkman Fionn I know you dont like Kerry but It would be nice if Kerry win and we play them under lights in croker during league and give them their first loss after the All Ireland.I just dont want Donegal to win.In truth I hope they both lose but Id take Kerry anyday over donegal. They were sickening in 92 and worse in 14 semi. i think I ll go on hols if they win lol. Any rumblings on the manager? Is Ger Brennan the front runner? Darcy?

No comment.... lol

I am hearing Ger and trying to get his backroom team organised.

Speaking of '92. Did you ever hear the stories about '92...?
And the Dublin players in The Rosnaree Nightclub in Drogheda in the build up to the Final.
I got chatting to a die hard Dubs fan before one of the recent games v Donegal.
The stories he had to tell..... Enlightening.... ;o)

Lol I understand bud. Naw never head the nightclub story but know from talking to one or two players over the years that they def took their eye off the ball in 92 as they did nt rate Donegal. It was def an All Ireland thrown away.Donegal were good on the day but it was a surprise and if the teams were ever to meet again there would be only one winner. That final always stuck in my craw .

A shoutout to Mark McNamee, former Ballyboden St Enda's player, who has become the latest Irish recruit in the NFL, after the kicker signed for the Green Bay Packers.

The 25-year old has just been signed by the Packers as their back-up kicker and International Player Pathway Program player.

Great achievement.

Hannah Tyrrell has confirmed tonight that this is her last season playing with the Dublin Ladies.

What a legend and what a career.

All Ireland Gaelic Football Medal
FAI Cup Soccer Medal
Six Nations Rugby Medal.

Hell of a sports woman.

I got talking to a recent ex player who is heavily linked with a role in the next Dublin Management setup.

He said the same as DC - it is not a foregone conclusion that Ger is getting the job, at all.

Is there gonna be a curve ball on this..???

Latest I heard was that its D'arcy, Cooper and Boom Boom... just the finer details to be sorted out.

Yep, I heard Jonny will be involved also.

TBH I don't think Boom Boom should be in there.
Would much prefer either of the 2 that I indirectly mentioned previously.

Yeah I don't think Jayo was overly popular when he was involved previously but its a largely different squad now so who knows..

I think D'arcy is the right man for the job though and as an ex-forward himself he might get us kicking a few two pointers!! ;)

Exactly - I still cant get over that comment by DF that we don't have a single 2 point kicker in our squad.
Mind boggling.

Would much prefer DC or you know who, ahead of JS tbh.
