Replying To Pope_Benedict:  "This is quite a serious charge surely. A management team that doesn't have the gumption to adapt to the new rules. And we want to extend that management team?"
This is Galway, so as always expect the county board to do the wrong thing, they'll probably extend Joyces's tenure for another three years, and tell him that he can go whenever he has had enough. We lost our chance last season, and looking at the way Donegal & Kerry are now playing, there is not a hope we will win an All Ireland under Joyce.

Replying To Eire89:  "We all seen what Jim McG did with Kevin Cassidy this is level of ruthlessness and mindset tht is needed to win Sam also it does not sit well with me that many players are on a flight a day or 2 later to play ball in U.S were they approached before champo etc."
We all seen what Dublin did with Diarmuid Connolly and Clare with Shane O'Donnell too.

You are talking absolute nonsense.

Seamus Flanagan appearing with BBC multiple AI winner.

And what if they were approached before championship it's a great way to spend summer if they are free.

most go on holiday anyway as been flat out training to entertain the likes of you

Your obsession what they do in there free time is odd.

Comer was at Wimbledon too last week which I'm sure is worthy of capital punishment to you.

Some fella called Fenton is out there playing he must have a terrible mindset.

Do you want these lads not to lead a life outside GAA

As another fella said I hope you have no involvement with teams with your mindset

Replying To WonTon5:  "This year's Senior Club Championship is shaping up to be a fascinating one and what it might tell us about the future of Galway football. A host of players who have shone in the underage ranks are now stepping onto the senior club stage, and for some, this could be the year they firmly put their hand up for county selection.

Some of the names to watch from each club:

Salthill-Knocknacarra - Charlie Power
Mountbellew/Moylough - Ciaran Mulhern
St. Michael's - Conal Gallagher
Oughterard - Adam Tierney
Maigh Cuilinn - Conor Corcoran
Bhearna na Forbach - Sean Dunne
St. James - Jack Folan
Killannin - Ryan Roche
Dunmore MacHales - Jake Slattery
Annaghdown - Daithi Kilcommins
Tuam Stars - Ronan Colleran
Claregalway - Luc O'Connor
Corofin - Patrick Egan
Monivea-Abbey - Glenn Kelly
Leitir Móir - Fionn Mac Donnacha
Milltown - Padraic Goodwin"
Not senior club but if Kyle Gilmore has a good year for Cortoon he won't be far off the number one jersey next year for Galway.

Ah isn't it awful that it doesn't sit well with you.You should go out and play yourself since you are such an expert.Sure they should all wear black and be in mourning because they didn't win an All Ireland. Its a game and those lads all have to go to work and get on with life no matter win or lose. There are more important things in life. Those lads gave their all and it didn't work out.

People over reacting as usual, Kerry hammered by Meath and Donegal lost to Tyrone and just about beat the worst Mayo team in the last 15 years.

Everyone touting Armagh as the hot favourites less then 3 weeks ago and they were hammered by Kerry, If Armagh keep the same panel they won't be far away next year and neither will Galway. We once again had no luck with the group with 4 of the best 8 teams in the country in the same group and then clearly a very tired and flat performance after playing 3 times in 3 weeks. To what extent that took its toil physically and mentally we don't know but it certainly didn't help.
