Is there anyone on here that has a season ticket and bought the 3 match pack tickets as I still haven't received mine and worried the stand will sell out before I get them? Galway.11 (Galway) - Posts: 3 - 12/05/2025 17:59:06 2608958 Link 0 |
This is the perfect away fixture, 5pm on a Saturday evening, in a great city, can not wait!!! realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8753 - 12/05/2025 19:37:38 2608991 Link 1 |
Haven't paid for the 3 match pack yet, but the last number of years these round robin games have been general admission tickets. So first come first serve if you want a seat in the stand, even with a season ticket.

Might be different for each county but the 3 game pass doesn't guarantee you a stand seat. Galway season ticket 3 game pass for sale here: link GreenandRed (Mayo) - Posts: 7990 - 12/05/2025 21:43:30 2609020 Link 0 |
Went to book the 3 game package but when i saw that it didt guarantee a ticket ,i reverted to the ordinary season ticket. Couldnt take the chance of not getting a seat as unfortunately unable to stand for the duration of a game. fairplay4ever (Galway) - Posts: 433 - 12/05/2025 22:15:49 2609026 Link 0 |
Stand has already sold out - yesterday I think.

I'm not expecting to win to be honest, but should be a competitive game in the lovely weather forecasted. Hopefully a good crowd.

As I've said I don't know who Clare is. I don't hate Galway or Dublin, just think Dublin have a good chance at the weekend. Experience, athleticism and tactics/coaching v skill and footballing ability. A great matchup to start the all Ireland series.

Short term memory loss is not a laughing matter. So Clare you'll be on here Saturday evening to give credit where it's due to Galway should they win?

Molloy & DOF are great impact options off the bench. Mayonman (Galway) - Posts: 1921 - 14/05/2025 15:09:01 2609594 Link 0 |
Never bet against Dublin.Galway will have to play very well but should be a good game no matter what.

How are you lads shaping up? Should be good craic in Salthill on Saturday evening, Dublin supporters around us in the Hogan were good value and very gracious in defeat last summer. ahsure. (Galway) - Posts: 1691 - 14/05/2025 16:17:32 2609620 Link 0 |
Three Left Footers in Full Forward line. We got away with it against Mayo but if the 2 pointers dry up and we need simpler 1 pointers , I am wary about this against a tight Dublin full back line. Im not against having three left footers inside , but three left footers who rarely, if ever, score with their right.

What is it about top Galway forwards and left footers , 1998-2001 was similar , PJ, Savo, Ja, Paul Clancy. And again all limited with the right. Ironically our top right footers seem to comfortable off the left , Damo, Shane, Cillian McDaid (to a lesser extent) and back in thd day Niall Finnegan.
