A spread of -4 doesn't suggest that Galway are expected to win by at least 4-6 points It suggests that Galway 5+ is equally as likely as a Roscommon win/Galway 1-3pt win combined. Plenty of margin built in there too unfortunately these days PressureKick (UK) - Posts: 262 - 14/04/2025 23:06:47 2601954 Link 0 |

I don't know where you get your information!! There's very little expectation of Ros winning in Salthill and certainly not too many wondering about a Connacht final!

Very true. In fact I know some regular supporters who aren't bothering to travel due to our poor form, lack of hope, that bloody venue and Easter. Seanfanbocht (Roscommon) - Posts: 2223 - 15/04/2025 09:35:36 2601983 Link 0 |
That has to be a wind up or Joyce has an account to try to get the supporters going. One thing for sure, expectations in Ros are a lot lower than the last meeting in Salthill. Maybe after seeing the post where some one said Galway would win handy playing at just 80% togoutlad needed to make sure there isn't too much complacency.

Are ya not listening to David Brady, he said Mayo can't be handing ye another cup this year....so he has both of ye in the final ;)

The spread/handicap in 70 minutes is on it's own odds. And to clarify the shortest odds on the winning margin is Galway by 4 to 6 points.

David Brady tweet the night before the Mayo v Tyrone 2021 All Ireland final. "The next time we wake up,we will all have medals"

There is definitely some very real expectation in the Ros camp. Sure the half of Ros's football fraternity are talking about two, maybe three perceived vulnerabilities in the Galway setup that they're set to target. And there is discussion about where a Mayo-Ros Connacht final should be played. I'd suggest some of yer posters know this too.

Top 2 in connacht that gave me a good laugh . So they are sob stories when they say they will loose and cocky when they say they will win ..hope it's ye in final though so we can pay yous back for last year. S1234 (Mayo) - Posts: 122 - 15/04/2025 13:42:11 2602046 Link 0 |

Great we got a laugh out of you Clare from the Mayogaablog. After the way Kerry eased past you in 2nd gear and how you only managed to beat Div 3 Sligo by three points at home it's probably for the best to keep the head down and park such cockiness for until after the Connacht final and if you manage to pull off upset win v Galway or Roscommon.

Clare you have it bad, perhaps obsessed. I image you as a female Dougal Maguire type, you know, probably in a single bed with your Mayo jammies and duvet and pictures of Aido, Paddy and Cillian on the wall. Relax and live life and perhaps stay away from the social media, you're on alert full time replying to every thread on multiple forums. Enjoy the rest of your day and if your chatting to your Donegal pseudonym (JimB1991) tell them the same. Finally, Roscommon may beat us at the weekend and if they do, we get a few weeks off to prepare for the group stage and life will go on.

As it gets closer to match I think Joyce will revert to lads he always seems to play in championship for league he might play few new lads but when it comes to championship he always picks the usual players that's why I expect Kickitout (Galway) - Posts: 1045 - 16/04/2025 17:03:38 2602281 Link 0 |
