They'll probably have the replay in Blacklion.

Floodlights maybe? They've a great setup to be fair, but is a trek for those 2 alright

Replying To PatTheDandy:  "A lot of guff being given about my 1 out of 4 last weekend. Both unfair & ungrateful guff, in my humble opinion, after a summer of great tips provided, if I do say so myself. Not one hat tip for a couple of tasty specials offered up which came in either. Including the in form Gearoid to not score a goal, and also Mullahoran not to score a goal.

I can indeed clarify that I am not on retainer for a bookmaker. I can also clarify that the free at the end of the Kingscourt game should not have been given. That makes it 2 out 4 including an unforeseen draw. A whole different outlook if fair play had to be give.

Moving on to this weekend then, Cavan Gaels & Ramor also need look at themselves having retreated too much into their shells while comfortably ahead and making a bee line for the correct winning margin. Though I expect closer games in the replays than I did before the 1st games, I expect Gaels & Ramor to win this time around.

These "special" bets don't exist. Why are you even bothering to make them up, are you that bored? And for argument's sake let's say they were genuine bets, last week you had Gearoid at even money to not score a goal, which means by your reckoning he'd be 8/11 to score a goal. Now a week later he's all of a sudden 7/5 to find the back of the net? Makes no sense. It's a good job you aren't a bookie because with these erratic odds I don't think you'd last long in the business.

Yes, they drew with them on Sunday just gone. Ramor have literally no one who can score consistently at the moment. 10, 11, 11, 10 are what they've scored last 4 games.

100% correct. Does so called special bets don't exist and if they did I don't think Drumlane would be 1/1 to lead half time and win. More like 1/3.
I think he's on a retainer with paddy power . He even tips worse than Ruby Walsh and that's saying something!!

Maybe that's why he spends some of his free time on here making up bets on that don't exist.

Yeah its crazy how are both teams going to make it. Its definitely the bones of a 20 minute journey longer than Breffni Park would be for both sides.

That was a poor Junior Semi yesterday. Drumlane would want to improve for the final. Mickey Brennan rolled back the years with some good frees but Drumalee didn't offer enough in attack with a score of 1-4.
Ryan Connolly kicked some quality scores in second half

Big defeat for the town team last night. Bitter pill to swallow, had their chance last week with an extra man and didn't take it.

Would expect Ramor to win with four to spare today. They need to start scoring a bit heavier if they want to retain the trophy.

Crosserlough & Gowna should be a good semi-final. I feel crosserlough have more potential and x factor players in their team and seem to be finding form at the right time. One hand is on the cup for them.

Killygary will be confident of beating ramor or mullahorn and reaching the final.

Crosserlough probaly have the edge in a reliable forward in Paddy Lynch. Conor Madden was very wasteful in the 2 games against Cavan Gaels. Cian Madden was good from the frees. Conor Brady playing excellent in midfield,

Both Crosserlough and Gowna play good attacking football with a lot of pace.

As a casual follower of Cavan football I'm just interested in anybody with an opinion on Ryan Donohoe in Gowna? His father won multiple titles with Gowna but his Uncle Pat was a midfielder for Leitrim in 94. Just interested to see his he capable of progressing to the County scene at Senior level?

Happy Monday Pat. Critical Analysis of last weekends tips as follows:

The Specials were very well priced and are a great feature of this forum. I think even if was in a "for arguments sake" sort of a mood, I couldn't argue that Drumlane HT/FT at Even Money didn't turn out to be particularly well priced. That said, 1 out of 3 on the specials is less than I'd expect from you.

5 from 8 on the Actual Results is not a bad score. But you were well off the mark in the Arva & Gowna games backing against what turned out to be the much stronger teams.

You can be forgiven for the Castlerahan draw as you were just the 1 point away, and possibly for the Gowna tip given that one can only assume they would have expected the Gaels to win as well when they went to trouble of trying to get it changed to Killygarry instead.

Expecting a higher percentage hit rate but looking forward to your tips at the weekend all the same, particularly the specials.
