I don't think so apart from maybe match betting on the two finals with Paddy Power. I think Sean Shields used to but I am not sure if they are still in business. Maybe that's why they are not still in business. I note Killygarry are 25/1 for the c'ship with e/w 1/3 odds. They have Castlerahan in front of them but that is a big price for a team who beat Gowna and Ramor in the groups who are available at much shorter prices. Suprisingly big win for Laragh over my Intermediate fav's at the weekend. I would have to install Laragh as the favorites for the moment but we will see what credentials Ballinagh show next Friday against the Cucu's. I think they had a relatively easy path to the QF's with their last two group games so this will be a decent test for them. Will be interesting to see if Ramor B's can beat Swad to stay up also. Perhaps both teams might want to lose that game to go down.. It would be a good achievement for Ramor to stay up if they could do it. Is G McKiernan still playing for Swad? Heard some rumours that he was on holidays during the c'ship and also that he was going to the Butlersbridge next year. But I heard rumours of his transfer alot of years for it not to materialise. Tough job for Mickey Graham and Crotty to turn the Gaels around now with so little time to work with. Some Mullinaghta magic will certainly be needed, but you never know what way things will turn. I think I will stick to my guns with K'scourt by 2. PatTheDandy (Cavan) - Posts: 356 - 09/09/2019 14:43:31 2233863 Link 0 |
Mickey Graham is not involved with Gaels setup.Karol Crotty is been assisted by SJ and Brain McDonald

Kingscourt a great price with Paddy Power at 15/8. PatTheDandy (Cavan) - Posts: 356 - 11/09/2019 14:35:56 2234442 Link 0 |
More so with Johnston out for Cavan Gaels. FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2832 - 11/09/2019 16:12:35 2234484 Link 0 |
Would be very surprised if Gowna, Killygarry or Cavan Gaels don't upset this

Tough to call the Gaels game, with Johnson missing I'm not sure where their scores come from. Where's POC? I don't think Martin Dunne is up to much anymore, he was a decent club footballer not so long ago but there hasn't been much from him lately. Maybe the gaels running power from deep with the 2 Murrarys could swing this game in their favour IamADragon (Cavan) - Posts: 306 - 12/09/2019 13:22:44 2234734 Link 0 |
A surprise defeat for Ballinagh. They were wasteful. Ramor looked good against Gowna. Conor Bradley very impressive. Gowna looked sluggish and not much game plan.. Oisin Pierson was about the only who stood out for Gowna. Kicked some lovely frees and a great score from play in second half FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2832 - 14/09/2019 12:07:26 2235176 Link 0 |
Good man yourself.

It was still a good price. But fairplay to Big S & co. for galvanizing the Gael's into that performance. Trademark organization and intensity on show. PatTheDandy (Cavan) - Posts: 356 - 15/09/2019 17:56:37 2235710 Link 0 |
Ramor v Crosserlough should be a decent game after the previous encounter. Its a surprise neither club has a second Jersey, hard enough to make out the colours from both teams FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2832 - 15/09/2019 20:02:02 2235763 Link 1 |
I think it was the time added on that caused the issues it would appear he said four minuets but they announced two not his fault.

Munterconnachts game should not have been played today.About 11 or 12 of their players were traumatised as a result of the tragic death of a young boy in Oldcastle whose funeral was on Saturday. Most of them knew him and played school football with him this year.Their club should have looked to postpone this game as these lads were in no fit state to play today. Some things are more important than football. Its counselling these lads needed not football. diver (Cavan) - Posts: 39 - 15/09/2019 20:26:33 2235773 Link 0 |
how was it a good price if it lost? Ramor very impressive friday night put together some lovely moves and probably should have won by more, wasteful at times. An impressive panel they have. Gaels showed a great hunger yesterday but i think they could still be found wanting with the loss of Johnston. Nobody looks to be ready to step up and kick 5 or 6 points per game. Martin Dunne looks way off the pace to what he use to be. Young Evan Fortune done a great job on Padraig Faulkner in the middle of the field. Think killygarry missed the boat castlerahan wont be as wasteful again. Conor Smith is an impressive talent took his goal brilliantly and very cool to slot the equaliser. Great to see Killygarry giving Castlerahan a good game in the Senior. 25/1 was definitely too big a price for them, although I think Castlerahan might come through by a couple of points the next day. PatTheDandy (Cavan) - Posts: 356 - 16/09/2019 10:22:23 2235961 Link 0 |
Gaels although not that impressive had their homework done on Kingscourt. Inaroundehouse (Cavan) - Posts: 975 - 16/09/2019 11:04:40 2235990 Link 0 |
Didnt get to see any club games over the weekend, Ramor result is the standout. They are right in the mix again. Pullhard1985 (USA) - Posts: 68 - 16/09/2019 12:31:19 2236047 Link 0 |
Yes one would have to say that full forward for Cuchulainns was the only stand out player over the weekend in Breifni. Not sure if Micky was there but his side kick was so lets see if he get's a chance., It would have to be said however there was nothing special from the opposition. As for the Ramor Gowna game it would be hard to find a county player amongst them and I am not sure if Ramor have anything to get to a county final. Crosserlough scoring 3-19 must make them hot favorites for the senior title.

You must not have at the game Sean. Conor Bradley was impressive for Ramor. Ado Cole done alot of damage in first half. James Brady was good too. FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2832 - 16/09/2019 17:51:54 2236257 Link 0 |
I cant see anything but a victory for Kilinkere in the Junior championship final. They should have no problem getting past Shannon Gaels. I will be shocked if they don't win by 6+ points Steady_Eddie (Cavan) - Posts: 75 - 17/09/2019 08:58:54 2236482 Link 0 |
Agreed on the above. And all playing at a higher level than the impressive Doughty also. Sometimes a bold statement is favored over common sense though.. PatTheDandy (Cavan) - Posts: 356 - 17/09/2019 09:15:57 2236491 Link 0 |
