Shock and despair were evident throughout the Cornafean area following the death on Easter Sunday of 41-year-old Martin Leddy. Martin was a promising underage footballer with Cornafean before emigrating to England at the age of 19. He returned to Ireland in 2000, living in Dublin for a while before moving back to Tullycoe, Cootehill.
