There was widespread sorrow last December when news emerged in the Ballinagh area of the death of Kathleen, formerly of Corduff, Ballinagh.

A lady of many talents, she was a very fine camogie player who gave great service to the Ballinagh club with whom she won three Cavan senior county championship medals in the fifties.

Her displays gained her many admirers and she became an automatic choice with successive Cavan teams with whom she won Ulster championship medals.

Sympathy is extended to her sister in law, nephews, nieces and relatives.
