April saw Annie passing away in her 93rd year, having been predeceased by her husband Frank six years ago. She had a keen interest in camogie from a young age and played for both her beloved Drumlane and Belturbet during her youth. The couple married in St Mary's Church, Staghall in August 1949 and lived together in Barrack Hill, Belturbet until his passing in February 2010.
